These are designed more for distance pursuits. I have heard from a few fans, that they are pursuing duration, but it is pretty challenging to compete against the craft that are specifically designed for duration. Completly different design criteria required. Just my opinion.

I saw your "Building the OmniWing Paper Airplane" video a few months ago and now my Tech Systems class is having a competition for a paper airplane that can go longest distance/longest flight time. Any suggestions? The school record for flight time is like 8 seconds for the flight time and Im just assuming that a basic airplane could fly pretty far if I make it right... lol sry for asking you so much :)

As awesome as the omni wing is, it wouldn't be able to hold up under the velocity demands it would need to break the duration record.The construction is also a disqualification due to having to cut a piece of the plane away and re-attach it. Maybe one day Guinness will have an unlimited category where any weight, glue, or re-attached pieces can be applied?
