@inviziblehunter You are the definition of igorance. You have no idea what frazier endured during all that and how much he suffered. He keep his composure through whole affair, helped Ali with money, went on talk shows in honor of him on xmas etc etc. Ali dug him deep. Ali has admitted that and is externally sorry for what he KNEW he was doing to Frazier. Walk a bit in a man shoes before daring to judge them. Shame, shame on you.

Everyone talking smack about Joe needs to watch this documentary. When Ali lost his boxing license, Frazier helped him get it back. And how does Ali show his thanks? By calling him derogatory names, making fun of his kids and just being a total douche to Frazier. I don't blame Frazier for acting the way he did towards Ali. I lost a lot of respect for Ali after watching this documentary, to be honest. RIP Joe. You're a true legend in every sense of the word.

Frazier was the sore loser, not Ali. Ali taunted ALL his opponents. They all had silly nicknames, and "gorilla" was no different than "The Mummy" (George Foreman) or "The Rabbit" (Floyd Patterson). Oooh, Ali had a toy gorilla he played with...BIG FUCKING DEAL. That's playground stuff...and no WAY does it justify Frazier mocking Ali's Parkinson's disease 30 years later...that was disgusting, and far worse than anything Ali ever said about Joe.

"I clearly won the fight. The proof is in the pudding...I'm walking, I'm talking" = a thousand times worse than anything Ali ever said about Joe. What makes that statement ESPECIALLY unforgivable is that Ali stopped talking smack about Joe in 1975. And yet, despite the fact that Ali had nothing but kind words for Joe from the day they stopped fighting till the day Joe died, Frazier still comes out with shit like that. Shame, shame on HIM.

You should read the book Ghosts of Manila, about their rivealry. It will open your eyes to Ali and his antics and also how Joe helped him out on more than one occassion. It will also show how Ali was first abused and then manipulated by the muslems. Ali's racist taunts towards Joe seem to be forgiven for some reason. Yes, read this book, very enlightening to that last fight and why it turned so vicious. Joe had didnity in defeat, unlike Ali who was a sore loser after their first fight. RIP Joe.

It was enough to cause facial injuries.And in what sense did a mother deserve to get beaten up in front of her son(Fraziers son at that)? Old or not,he's a foremer professional fighter that was still capable of doing damage to a woman.

And I was responding to somebody who claimed Frazier had "class",which he quite obviously didnt have.A thug,perhaps,but certainly not a man of class.

@buriedinsmoke3 Dude, Ali was promoting the fight. He was cruel at times, but he has apologised many many times for it. That dumb documentary was made by lynches. Frazier has forgiven Ali. So stop making more out of it.

Former heavyweight world champion Joe Frazier was arrested in February 2004 after police responded to a 911 domestic violence call from his North Philadelphia home. When police arrived a woman, the mother of Frazier's son, answered the door. She told the police that Frazier had hit her and there were injuries to her face to back up the claim. The charges were later dropped, after the woman refused to testify against Frazier.
