Afternoons with Grandpa: At the Ball Game (1)

Gramps decides to take his grandson to a ball game.

The final product is around three minutes. When I get it all done I'll upload it on my animation channel called

Until then I will upload the three segments one at a time. Part 2 will be due up in a month.

This animation was created with a non HD feel and a slow frame rate (15fps). Now I use better resolution and 24 fps. I started this last summer but put it to the back burner for other projects.
This was rendered as a WMV file from Adobe Premiere CS3 with animation created in ToonBoom. It's a bit choppy but it's as clean as I can get it. Itried MPEG2, Real, and MOV and it never had the clean look I wanted. With my later vids in HD I use MPEG2 and they seem to look better.

What do you use to make these things? Flash?

I've heard of Flash, but am not familiar with it. The program I use is called toonboom4. It is a comprehensive program for sure. Then I edit it together with Adobe Premiere, though WMM can work too.
