@hvhsvahgcge2 laughable, learn your history and look at the facts. Every single implementation we see today is because of the keating/hawke government. If that means we have short term pain for long term gain than so be it. Its called making tough decisions for the benefit of australias future, something the liberal party know nothing about. It is the same situation today yet people are fooled into believing we are wastefully spending money. Its better than sitting on you hands and doing nothing
@australianews yes but apparently spending is worse than nothing ever getting done in this country, fair dinkum we are in the midst of complete stupidity, the liberal party's great plan is to save money by getting rid of labor's implementations and claiming then claiming "look at the economy, see what happens when you save money? clever ay?" meanwhile, hospitals, roads, workers are back to square 1 because no money is getting pumped into fixing it. Wake up all you fence sitters and realise this.
@hvhsvahgcge2 Consumers will inevitably pay significantly more than they currently do to use the existing broadband network due to the excessive cost of labors policies
SORRY WRONG.
My company or ISP if you like rang us and gave us a deal of 100gb
on the fastest speed for the same price .
We were on 12gb and slower speed.
So we are now getting the internet cheaper because the rollout is coming to our town.
We can not get Telstra OR optus we go through a company that laid its own cable.
@australianews Consumers will inevitably pay significantly more than they currently do to use the existing broadband network due to the excessive cost of labors policies. So the working families labor claim to represent will just be worse off, with Australian paying more for broadband and more tax to pay off labours debts yes they do take care of working families don’t they.
GST served to strip the unfair tax advantage that service providing businesses had over suppliers of goods. Why not look at all of labors failed policys and plans for example their broadband plan which Tony rightly will scratch as like with all labors plans there will be a price double from 43 to 86 billion, “This is potentially $86 billion of taxpayers’ money that Labor is prepared to spend – again billions of dollars of borrowed money without the slightest regard for taxpayers.”
@hvhsvahgcge2 Paul Keating put in all the policys that made this country what it is today .
And i dont need wikipedia but you sure as hell do bcause you have no idea who has created the conditions and the policy that has this country growing in times like these.
Liberals greatest policy according to them is the GST .Well i got news for you
that takes money for the government it dosent create jobs or wealth
That is there greatest political moment taking more money than the government ever has
@australianews You say that Liberal party supports are stupid when you a labor supporter is using Wikipedia as your main source to criticize the Liberal party. Tony has his climate plan, a plan that wont tax farmers so those in the city can feel good about themselves, Tony is trying to the best he can with the funds left to him but that isn’t a lot thanks to labor, Gillard is liar out for herself who will destroy this country if she wins which looking at the polls is unlikely now
@australianews Oh and the Liberals did a hell of a lot in their first 3 years though they were limited due to the massive debt they inherited from labor funny how history repeats always with labor debiting us

@hvhsvahgcge2 So by your logic any thing we have built in this country should not have been built because it cost the australian people tax dollars.
Wake up to yourself the NBN is something that will be used for the next 50 years and beond.
If faster internet services are created in the future you will need OPTIC FIBRE
the old copper is of a by gone era.
And tonys plan of wireless is stupid just ask the people who allready have it .
ITS NOT GOOD ENOUGH and they want BETTER.

@hvhsvahgcge2 Go to wikipedia and look at what the liberals did in the first 3 years.
Very little.
And second the liberal have ADMITTED they woud have the country in DEBT.
You liberal supporters are so stupid and the debt will be paid off without selling things unlike Tonys plan.
You watch how many jobs go if the liberals get in.
And his GREEN army of 15 thousand what a waste of money.
Each of them will have a government car and do nothing.
Cutting broardband 25.000 jobs .
What an idiot.
