One of the first Muay Thai vs Chinese San Da competitions from around 2000.

These series of competitions were introduced so both Chinese and Thai fighters could benefit from learning from each other. From this Chinese professional San Da has introduced some knee strike training and Muay Thai in Thailand have introduced some throw training.

The Chinese fighter is a San Da athlete from Shan Dong province.

As a sign of respect and friendship Chinese fighters waited for Thai fighters to finish their Wai Khru.
