  • Very good question. I suspect his sterile precautions were not what they might have been. But they didn't know much about that sort of thing then.

  • this sounds like kno3 to me.

  • I know a friend who tried obtaining white phosphorus from his urine by boiling it in his kitchen, his neighbours complained about the smell. He wasn't successful at making it though.

  • I wrapped my fist around my penis and started tugging up and down

a few mintues later something very strange came to pass

  • he probably made salt of the peter or saltpeter. he was stupid really, eveybody knows pussy is pure gold. If you cant turn pussy into gold you are just not trying.

  • what sort of wriglling worms did he find?maggots i assume

  • This has nothing to do with real experiment. The scene with the urine boiling is just few pieces of dry ice in a yellow liquid.

And sand doesn't cause fuming. Brandt used a furnace and dry distillation.

And phosphorus doesn't glow like that. We see it burning in the video, not glowing.

I don't know why do people make documentary films like this at all. If you're recreating a historic experiment, then do it properly. This is just stupid. Brandt's experiment was messy and dangerous.

  • "And then, something very strange came to pass" lol, unintentional pun?

  • @safenders LOL very funny

  • how the hell is it cold fire if it was steam!?!?!!? 0.o

  • so this is how the first light bulb was actually invented?
