Japanese High School Sports Day

Random snippets taken during my second High School's sports day. It is by no means comprehensive or in any good order, I just filed what I felt like at the time. But it should give you an idea of what it's like.

I've seen sports festivals depicted in a few anime before, but this is the first time I've seen what one actually looks like. It's cool that everyone is so totally into it, probably to the point of exhaustion. Not that fainting due to exhaustion is a good thing, but it's good they're really having fun.

Also, did they have team names or something? I noticed yotsuba logos on the backs of the black shirts during one of the group cheers, so I'd guess they would have names too right?

@TourniquetMuffin They were just in class teams. I don't think they had names as they just cheered out the class number or the teacher's name. But they made the tshirts themselves for a competition.
