Every day, Central's vast cultural diversity is celebrated. This celebration apexes on International Day, part of the annual Multicultural Week. The day features incredible student performances, a fashion show, the International Café, decorated hallways, a bazaar, workshops, and guest speakers, amongst other activities.

This is Central's official podcast documenting International Day 2009.

  • i wanna watch the whole show..dont remember why i didnt watch it all in adv, probably becuz that tv didnt work for the entire year.~~T_T

  • Thanks for your comment. What room is your advisory in? We'll add it to the list of classrooms that have TV problems, if it's not already on there. Sorry for the inconvenience.

  • thank for replying. it;s room 003, the art room down in the basement. i dont know if it;s fixed or not, but thank you. ;)

  • No problem. I believe that room is on the list already, but I'll check Tuesday for sure. Hopefully it'll get fixed soon! ;)

  • looks funn~!!

can freshmen participate in the performances?

  • Yep, they can. It all depends on the cultural club you are in, should you choose to be part of one. The clubs that put on a performance will choose their best members to perform. Since I'm not part of a cultural club at Central myself (I'm more of the media type), I can't fully say how the entire process works. The same goes for the fashion show. ;)

    ok

    thnx for the info~!!

    =]

  • oh and the fashion show too?

    ehehe just curious

  • thanks!

  • Yep, it does. In 9th grade year, you can choose to take Algebra 1G (the "G" means it's a mentally gifted class), English 1G, World History G, or Biology G. There's no MG courses in 10th grade, but there are English G courses in 11th and 12th grade, as well as several other various subjects in the sciences and social studies. Every MG class is a smaller class size, and you can only choose one per year. I hope this helps. :)
