Here's the first show from the 1987 season. The closer was not ready. Obviously the focus is on me since my mom shot this, but she did a good job of showing most of the action. The parade at the end was the next day. I have no idea if they still kick off Labor Day weekend with the western parade. I also still don't know how I ended up on the front row, unheard of for a freshman. I can tell you it wasn't me butchering the trumpet parts in the show.

  • We were supposed to dress "western." Some did, most didn't. Hey it was the 80's and it used to be a big deal when the rodeo came every year.
