1987 LaFayette, GA Rambler Band & Parade

Here's the first show from the 1987 season. The closer was not ready. Obviously the focus is on me since my mom shot this, but she did a good job of showing most of the action. The parade at the end was the next day. I have no idea if they still kick off Labor Day weekend with the western parade. I also still don't know how I ended up on the front row, unheard of for a freshman. I can tell you it wasn't me butchering the trumpet parts in the show.

We were supposed to dress "western." Some did, most didn't. Hey it was the 80's and it used to be a big deal when the rodeo came every year.
