DO = Path/Art . Let us begin with the Art of peace here and now, right where we are. Selected 15 verses on Aikido are stepping stones helping us to cross the river of life and return to true Voidness. Stillness and movement as Unity. These verses are like Koans which must be understood directly, intuitively. Caligraphy of FRIENDSHIP, COURAGE, BUDO and WISDOM opens the gate to inner wisdom Light and warmth of compassion. As it is said : "Grasp the essence and move on toward realisation !" Standing in the midst of great Void (skt. Shunyata) is the secret of the way of the warrior. Inhale deeply -- exhale slowly. Turn your attention inward and contemplate the Sound*Light of Voidness-Ultimate nature. Peaceful, yet vividly Present, Aware... Contemplate one verse every day. "Fill yourself with the power of wisdom and enlightenment." Every Bodhisattva warrior is "living Buddha image", lead by jinas victorious buddhas. Realise that divine Buddha nature is inside you and around you. As Bodhisattva warrior pacify your environment and create a beautiful world.

iv. ✿♥ How does contemporary masters and experts describe AIKIDO, practised by more than 1 million people in Japan and around the world ?
Ryuichi Omori : "Aikido techniques are mainly for self-defence...Aikido is not a Martial art that aims to fight." Hideo Takaoka -- Research Institute of Movement describes control of opponent´s energy -- speed is the key. Scientific study of Aikido shows redirection of force.
Gozo Shioda (1915-1994) was one of the students of Morihei Ueshiba and established Yoshinkan approach of Aikido, with 120.000 members worldwide.
Tsuneo Ando , chief Master Instructor of Aikido Yoshinkan : "There are 3000 techniques, based on four fundamentals..." Yasuhisa Shioda- Grand Master of Aikido Yoshinkan : "Aikido is all about concentration and timing. It´s all about how you handle these two elements." Aikido as a way of living is peace and harmony.
