  • I really ike this dress. How many yards of falric should I purchase? I'm about the same size as you and i want to make my dress the same way but knee-length in black

  • @princess4eva1193

It all depends on the width of the fabric. If you purchase a fabric that is between 45 to 60 inches wide, you probably can make the dress with a 1 1/2 yard of fabric, but I would purchased 2 yards to be on the safe side.

  • It would help if we all had your wonderful figure. BUT, since I am one of the heavier and older folks, I'm wondering if this dress would still look so beautiful. I am 55 and weigh about 160 pounds on a 5'2" frame. Do you have any suggestions for we who are a bit "thicker" ? Thanks so much

  • I think this dress would look lovely on you. The bottom of the dress is very loose so women of all sizes can wear it. You can also make the top a little looser so it will give you more room, add a scarf or jacket, and you will be ready to go.
