i live near edinburgh and last year my college was shut for 2 weeks with the snow probs have bad snow had the most rain in like 100 years in fife and i think the snow is comeing in i seen some near greenland a few days back

@alyr315 Our average winter temperature in London is usually 45 F so this is extremely early winter weather for the UK, although we should be more prepared!

@alyr315 US cities are more prepared for snow; the UK is not. Why you ask? Well the UK usually gets years where the winters are "mild, meaning no snow and temps lowestest at 5c. However, over two years we have experienced much harsher snow and colder weather that we are not used to and thereofr not prepared for at all. We don't have the right equipment for this stuff; most snowey cities that are use to this are.
