  • Any religious person can easily reconsile Science to God...........From the religious perspective, all one has to do is realize that if God created the earth and all upon it, then God created Evolution as well, and all Scientific exploration and activity is simply all part of Gods plan!

  • Awesome documentary! Pascal is one of my favorites.

  • Don Cupitt, amazingly, remains an Anglican priest - if this were RC Church, the CDF would hit him with the magisterium! Cupitt's view of science is very 19th Century - and of course there are trained Scientists, like Rev Dr John Polkinghorne FRS (an astrophysicist) whose religious views are much more orthodox than the philosopher Cupitt. These documentaries are interesting, and thanks for uploading them, but there is so much more to be said.

  • Hmmm. I think that Don Cupitt is an interesting religious thinker and he is certainly making me think about religious questions; but I cannot see how science necessarily excludes providence or miracles. Science is the study of natural processes through the use of observation, experiment and reason and science has discovered laws or regularities of nature. But the miraculous presupposes that are are such regularities, otherwise there would be no difference between a miracle & a natural event.

  • More of our population should learn from those of long ago, they took more "time" to contemplate and reflect on overall humanity. Thanks to those who assist in documentation of the books I fight to make time for. "TIME" how precious it is for us all. History channel reflects Pascal on different issues mentioning him and he views ;) A man so young to think outside the perverbial "BOX" not only in respect to FAITH. Now, back to my hard bound biography on him! Take care to reflect and ponder.

  • Affirming the value and dignity of human life, from the first breath to the last, in the face of an indifferent universe.--
