custom map made by me in UnrealEd using the Deus Ex engine. the map idea is however, for the game GunZ. i already know there's no chance of this map concept actually being put into kGunz, jGunz, ijji Gunz, etc
the layout is the simple; it's basically the same as "attack and defend" Mansion. each team has a spawn room and a hallway for a base, and there is a neutral area in the middle that the attacking team must go through. the "base entrances" are signified by small drop-off ledges, like in Mansion, and should be pretty well-defined from the vid
the difference between Mansion is that I've made the hallways shorter, and the spawn rooms bigger. the spawn rooms are also the same size, unlike the dining room/library in mansion.
note that there are pits, but there are wide ledges below the base entrances. the defending team would not be able to flip the attackers into the pit.
The red and blue cubes you see in the spawn rooms indicate where players would spawn
Red spawn is an area that looks almost exactly like the first dungeon quest stage, with the upper ledges on the sides with pillars.. Blue spawn has the dungeon well, and a "new" room design that provides about the same amount of cover as the Red spawn, to keep it balanced.
Great at the whole thing beign copied bits of Dungeon remixed together -.-

thanks, I tried to let all weapon types be useful in some way in the design. nades and rockets would be really useful for the defending team since the attacking team would most likely rush to the ledge below the entrances and camp. rifles and pistols/revs would be nice for attacking to and from the centerpoint of the map - the top point where the two stairways meet. shotguns and uzis for the short hallways and the spawnroom areas :P
