power chords are so "early nineties". your voice =drift back rock but the guitar =step forward grunge. you need someone who can play mellow behind you to give more dynamic. you play together so "one-noted" it sounds like the guitar is playing the drums and bass. if you could play your own pieces and bring them together you have a fuller sound. there is nothing carrying the song. whether another guitar or synth or anything to help the song not sound like a monotone transition. just tryn to help

U cats R GREAT!!!... but I would suggest U get the bass and drummer singing back up vocals at the chorus...It would enhance the dynamics of the band....PEACE!!! FAST CAR!!!
