I think what you hear is different tone at certain height that just natural sound wave. It great for podcast but I need something more warmer tone for music. Now one question which is your favorite mic and which one you recommended for music(vocal) recording.

so mine is similiar situation but for me I plan to use the Mic for covers, however I am new to this, and I was wondering would I need a mixer? And must I have a desktop to record? Or is it okay to use a laptop to use this mic?

Hey, I have a problem. When I record with the microphone, it sounds perfectly fine but then I upload it to Magix Video Editor and add video with the audio. When I finalize the video, it sounds a little muffled. I'm not doing this to advertise my videos I just need a little help because I'm not sure if I got ripped off or not. Do you mind going to my channel and looking at my How To Love - Lil Wayne video and giving me feedback? The audio seems really muffled compared to this. Thanks!
I actually own this mic and it sounds buzzier than it does when I record with it. I've noticed this on other videos too... it's this an EQ issue or is it due to the usual YouTube audio obliteration?

@PocketDrummer - I run processing which seems to drive the YT audio transcoding crazy ; ) It wasn't always that way, but some vids do have very audible artifacts. I'm mostly back doing audio-only shows at NewMediaGear, although we will be trying YT again at a higher resolution.

I like how the sibilant sounds came out. I did hear one popped p before 5 min. That's just nit picking. Great show. The mic does sound papery in that 'sweet spot' you'd mentioned. I like it. Oh. One more popped p at 9:05! :-)

Yes - I heard a few 'pops' in the phones.
It's very hard to describe the sound of this mic. The consistent word other people used was 'bright', but I think there's more to it than that.
That's why I enjoy keeping this mic around. It has a unique character.
