It's weird that in Australia he puts his Australian accent back on (sort of). He lost it for the most part though.

I love him! I love how the Austrailian accent comes back when he is at home. He is extremely talented actor, sonwriter, singer,muscian, etc...still gorgeous and his book is amazing. He admits to all of his mistakes with no excuses....if you haven't seen him live, you should...

"VERY FAMILY ORIENTATED"? ROTFLOL! Yes. Very. He broke up many a happy family. Were his "wife" not into abuse, his would have been one of them. Yek. The more I see of him, the more I think his depression is contagious. I'm getting depressed just listening to him worship himself.

WOW I am a huge Rick fan, never seen this. He has said he lost his Australian accent when he took acting classes, in the late 70's here in USA. Im not sure, but I wouldnt think it would be too hard to pick the accent back up. Regardless, either way, he is HOT, he is SO GREAT, and his music will always live in my heart!! PS.. notice my username here is moteleyes2. he had a song on his Living in Oz album called motel eyes that ROCKS! ;o) my favorite song.

He lost his accent when he was acting to get better roles. He got it back a lot when he was back in Austrailia for 3 weeks and it came back easily. I was at the 1st concert when he came back to the states and it was so weird to hear him talk and sing with it. Between this and playing eli on GH , He might have a hard time getting rid of it again. lol
