Howto: burn an .iso image on a Mac using Burn

Find more tips at: http://www.docstechnotes.com. I frequently have folks ask me how to take an .iso file and make a usable CD/DVD from the file. They generally all make the the same mistake, they copy the .iso image directly to media and press the burn button. I recorded this screencast to demonstrate the proper method using a Mac and the free Burn software.

It should, but have to admit, haven’t played with bootcamp at all. I’m a VirtualBox user. I can tell you this process works with VB though.

ive seen a few videos on youtube about this. i watched this video about a year ago and it worked awesome and i was so happy. i now need to do this process and browsed a few crappy videos that didnt really tell me how. i clicked this one, heard your voice and was like "fuck yeah its this guy".

i did this for rosetta stone & what happens when i insert the CD (after i burned the ISO file) is it shows me the files inside but doesn't run the program.. i mounted & burned the cd using disk utility on my mac osx lion

you are a master... quick question though, I downloaded windows 7 .iso file straight from microsoft. and im trying to burn that to a disk to make it a windows install disk, will it work with bootcamp??
