i was looking to make somthing like this, but wanted to add extra's like facebook notifications, and to display my bank balance. ordered my ethernet sheild so i dont have the pc on for it to work.

It has a serial backpack and is connectes tp the serial port on the PC. It's just experimenting and fun, but i also plays a lot with Arduino.
