The British High Commission in Colombo is accused of despatching a Sri Lankan to the United Kingdom sans a visa.
As reported in several English weekend newspapers today, Minister Rohitha Bogollagama had summoned High Commissioner Peter Hayes to the Foreign Ministry. He has sought an explanation from Dr. Hayes while the Government has ordered a high level inquiry. According to the report, the British High Commission has issued a letter to the Sri Lankan girl Angayatkanni Krishnapillai requesting British Airport authorities to facilitate her arrival at the Heathrow Airport. The report also said that the British High Commission had not issued the Sri Lankan with a valid visa but despatched a diplomat to the Katunayake International Airport to put her onboard a direct flight to the UK. It is being investigated into the possibility of the British High Commission helping more people to escape. Inquiries will concentrate on whether terrorists and various other criminals had been sent out of the country.

The Controller for Immigration and Emigration P.B. Abeykoon pointed out that they are probing the despatch of a girl to Britan in a direct flight with a letter issued by the High Commission, sans a visa. It is the opinion of a majority as to why Britain was turning down applications for visas for reasonable causes while it was despatching individuals without granting visas and purely on a letter issued by the High Commission.

  • I will keep this short, They are CUNTS

  • UK does all sorts of dirty things to keep their pockets filled. the end of Sri Lankan war must have hit hard on their economy. so they wont think twice to start another one. may be this incident is the ground work for that. i mean this girl who was sent o UK might be trained by their Army just like CIA trained al quaeda against Soviets and then sent back to SL to bomb.

  • I have no objections. Please take all the terrorists -some day they will start blowing up London asking for a eelam.

  • Wild-law.............

    UK=terrorist supporting country
