In a way when the relationship changes it twists it into something that may make us uncomfortable because of our laws and social norms yeah . Even though the age might be right to date or get married we had all of that other type of relationship father daughter-ish leading up to us it completely threw us off when they went to romance mode .

This is an awesome story I like it I haven't read the manga except I did read the last one online. I have seen all of the series anime .
Yes for some reason American culture is not like that even though we say sigmund freud is the father of modern psych . Most of us cringe at situations that remind us of his beliefs . The reason why I think it's sick is because in my culture there are ages to date and get married.
And I myself am mostly naive & ignorant about other countries cultures on that

@15minoflame lol the people who are saying the manga's ending was sick obviously doesn't know how japanese culture is. yes maybe to american's and a few other parts of the world, people would see that being sick, but in japan stuff similar to that happen more often than you think. japans moral values are much different than america's moral values.

Total sick ending just wrong completely I'm do glad the anime series didn't end like that because of what I've heard of the manga it makes me distance on the others

manga was kind of sweet until the sick ending. it was just plain wrong.
