I would go with appeal to authority. The ad is telling you to believe a TV star to know about TV services. While he entertains you, he's distracting you from the real issue with stories of brain mush and aliens. The real issue is, of course, whether this Hulu can do everything that Alec says it can, i.e. "bring TV to your portable computing device", and whether this service is any good.
