Happy birthday to my best friend Brittany! She got to request whatever she wanted from me for her birthday (and I normally don't do requests). :D Sorry it's set to super speed... it was either that or the video would be like 10 minutes long. DX I worked on this over a period of two days, which is strange for me... I usually will do an entire large picture straight through without stopping (which is never a good idea lol). I've never really drawn anything like this before, so it was a fun new challenge! Anyway, thanks for watching!

Here is the final picture over on my deviantArt!

  • your work is amazing :3

i enjoy watching you make your art alot~

if you dont mind me asking what are the color shades you're using for the skin? i always have a hard time picking them

  • @rayraywolfie I used E000. E00, E21 and R20 for the skin in this picture. :D Picking colors for skin is difficult.

  • I admire your work, I watched the video, and wished you had left the "mirror" white? Was that a mirror? because by the end, it just seemed too dark. But your process is quite amazing ~

  • @baji115 It's a picture frame, which is filled with gears. It could have been a mirror, but I thought leaving the glass white (or off white) would have drawn too much attention to that part of the composition, so it became an frame instead.

  • Like it! Can i ask how many hours did it take?

  • @aanarus :) Thanks! I would say... about 4-5 hours? I usually don't spend longer than that on any one piece of work.

  • @regfaga Actually, on many vintage clocks (circa 1800's) it was more commonly written as IIII, not IV. Seeing as this was a Steampunk-esque illustration, it seemed fitting to use the earlier roman numeral 4 rather than the new one. I always do my research. :)

  • ...You are a goddess. D: lmao Looked great!!! ^_^
