upcoming Nickelodeon cartoon "Ape Escape"
im a big fan of ape escape,and when i saw this video 4 the frist time, i thought 2 my self:...why nick...why?. this cartoon is NOTHING like the original series.
ill probably still wacht it though...but the monkeys and specter r a joke.Animation sucks, voices sucks ..... sniff ...all i can say is UKI UKI! and rate 5

@TechieWidget Dude, they haven't made anything for the nintendo 64 for 10 years now. I'd say there is a pretty safe bet that a 12 year old would recognize the Wii over an N64. So yes. It's perfectly okay, infact I bought that game on Wiistore just a few days ago.

But that's besides the point and you seemed to have ignored most of my argument, I'd expect better from an 'intellectual' fanboy like yourself. Then again, you've not changed much from the last time I butted heads with you.

This cartoon is made to pander to a younger audience, and they are right on saying the PS2 games because that is what the audience it is AIMED at will recognize the most. The younger generation won't recognize the original game.

I've also watched both seasons of the show and I still think they're a bunch of shit. But different strokes for different folks. I still think they did the games justice in this cartoon.

The anime used characters and elements from the recent Ape Escape games at the time (2006-2007): Ape Escape 3, Ape Escape Million Monkeys, Saru Saru Daisakusen and Piposaru Racer.

I watched both seasons of the show, and they are all different.

Done the original games justice?

They screwed up the credits by saying that it's based on a PS2 game called Ape Escape. To add in, Jimmy only starred in the 2nd game, not the 1st.
