He just stated that innovation is evolution. But is it? That is like saying that humans ultimately not only control nature but ARE nature. We are part of nature, but we are limited to the evolution of our bodies and needs of the physical world.

We are fucking up the balance because we have innovated in a way which nature would never have accepted as a viable evolution because it is not viable as a sustainable or stable state alternative.

All of this will require POWER. We MUST get our energy sources sorted. Clean and renewable sources only. Even nuclear fission reactors, if need be. Sort out the power requirements, and we might still have a planet left to develop :)
