the Prophet of LA, the Boy from Montana,

    the father of Micheal Jordan

    and Kobe Bryant...

The best coach basketball has ever known

    You will be remembered,

and be the inspiration for the next one on the throne

  • Ewww it's David stern!!! Said no to cp3 trade

  • phil jackson=best pro coach

    john wooden=best college coach

  • Phil Jackson= the greatest coach in the history of proffessional sports. He's #1 for me. I don't care if people say that MJ, Kobe or Shaq were the coaches of the team, he was the coach of the team. I miss you Phil, hope you can appear as a guest on TV Shows.

  • Jim Huber is just plain awful. When he's not stuttering, he's exposing his ignorance of basketball history. Red won a good number more than 9 rings, Mr. Expert. Where did they get this clown?

  • You can argue that Phil Jackson had the talent - but 11 championships in 20 seasons? Wouldn't you say he maximized even the greatest talent that basketball has ever seen? Jordan & Pip's Bulls and Shaq & Kobe's Lakers were two of the best dynasties the NBA has ever seen. Before Phil Jackson came to Chicago & LA they still had the talent... he brought them serenity, he brought them guidance, he brought them championships. The NBA Universe will miss you PJ.

  • Lets add Shaq to the immortal MJ and Kobe that this news report forgot to mention ? Amazing record/numbers, 11 Championships over 20, crazy.

  • host: his teams "THE LEGENDARY CHICAGO BULLS" and this lakers. LOL it says everything about the difference between the two teams LOL...

  • best coach ive seen him when he coached the Bulls in the late 90's and from the Lakers in the 2000's to this season good bye Zen Master.
