One of my favourite songs by this band.
It was first realesed on the 1991 album Temples Of Ice, and was then part of the Kissing One of my favourite songs by this band.
It was first realesed on the 1991 album Temples Of Ice, and was then part of the Kissing The Beast compilation.

-Lineup:-
Tony "Demolition Man" Dolan -- vocals, bass
Jeff "Mantas" Dunn -- guitar
Al Barnes -- guitar
Anthony "Abaddon" Bray -- drums

-Lyrics:-

He was in life as he was in death
A well remebered man
His life was taken like a sudden breath
that simply wasn't planned

And all that's left to say
Written on his grave it says:

In Memory Of

In all the essence of a friendship he,
was never so cold or sad
He tried so hard as he struggled in
What little time he had

No more return to home
Written on his stone it says

In Memory Of

And now he's gone all that's left behind
Is a legacy
In the pages of a magazine
Left in time to read

the only thing that's said
A memory of his life
Written at it's head it says
All this left behind

  • "Need to Kill" and "Crucified" are songs I wanna hear again!

  • I can upload those if you want.

  • anymore temples of ice.if so its much appreciated if you put it on youtube

  • Well I don't actually have the Temples Of Ice CD, I have Kissing The Beast, so the only songs that I have from Temples Of Ice are the ones that were included on Kissing The Beast: "Tribes", "Even In Heaven", "Trinity MCMXLV 0530", this one, "Acid", and "Arachnid". I have a live version of the Deep Purple cover, "Speed King", but not the studio version. If there are any of those you would like to hear, please ask and I will upload them.

  • that would be awesome,if you uploaded kissing the beast. this is such rare material it is truly a treat to listen to it.

  • Well if you tell me which song you would like to hear first, I'll start doing it right away.

  • YEHA !!!!

  • GREAT....!!!!

  • I love this album! Although, my favourite song is 'Faerietale', where is it? Not on you tube? Is it possible?

  • R E S P E C T

  • His voice reminds me of a late 80 band.Evil is the name of the band if i am right .Cronos did some backing vocal for them.I can be wrong it was 2 decades ago can someone correct me if i am wrong.

  • @liamharbert1988 Thanks. For years I had wondered who Paul Miller was.

  • @Jordanm5150 This album was released in 91. It was the second album without Cronos who had left the band in 88 and formed his own band called Cronos. Another cronos-less album followed after this and that was "The wastelands". IMHO all Venom albums are great whether with Cronos or Tony Dolan.

  • Where the hell is Cronos?? i dont know too much bout em, can someone help me out?

  • Even though cronos isn't in this album it's still another successfull venom album welcome to hell at war with Satan wast lands n temples of ice are my fave albums with cronos n demolition man

  • he does
