Chào Chú Đăng Thảo, chú đàn thật tuyệt vời. Con rất thích nghe đàn tranh và tích học đàn tranh. Chú có thể tư vấn cho con để mua được một cây đàn tranh phát ra tiie61ng tốt khi đàn thì cần những yếu tố gì không ạ. HIện tại con đan cần mua 1 cây đàn tranh để học.

Thanks for the reply. I have seen the classical guitar video as well. I am looking to buy another Dan Tranh, any suggestions ? I have heard of Saigon Strings, I just want a good quality. I am only an amateur .but I am open to suggestions. Thanks , Keith

@baltimoreballs Sorry, I can't help you there. I don't play đàn tranh myself. The player in this clip used to be me my guitar teacher when I first started years ago. I hope someone here can help you out. Good luck !

I think this is great. I really like that you use your own finger nails as well. I think this adds to the sound and tone. I never saw Dan Tranh players using their own nails before. I have seen a Zheng player using his nails before. I like your style and hope to see and hear more from you. Keith

@baltimoreballs Thanks ! I'm glad you enjoyed it. The player also plays classical guitar, so he grows his finger nails long. Most Vietnamese zither players attach picks to their fingers.

Hi! It's joyful that you relate myself with your dad. I assume that he also plays the Dan Tranh. I haven't got a ny video clips with slow motion. However I may think of creating them in the future.
