Heh, I was recently talking a lot to my friend Psylentknight about AMVs and GMVs. And after talking to him abit, I decided to go back and rework my very first AMV, "Sweet Dreams in Purgatory".
New to the "2007 Edition"
- My new intro for all future AMV/GMVs!
- A simpler credits (MM will never mess up my text again damn it! lol.)
- Better timing and video editting (I've gained a few new things for MM, but I've still got to practice with them more and see if what else I can find out there. Otherwise, I'm loving these new effects!)
Well, let me know what you think. If you'd like to compare, you can still find the other video on this account.
Enjoy!
I had an idea while watching the B&W parts. It really reminded me of Schindler's list, and the girl in the red dress. Anyway, if you keep the part where spike gets shot black and white and then make the blood from the wound red as it flies through the air that would be neat. Otherwise it was a nice rework.

Awesome intro and a good AMV, but I think you hit the target better w/the first. You have some cool new ideas with syncing, but you overdo the SFX/color changes.

I agree with psylentknight. It was very true to the original but much better (though the original is still good in my opinion). I enjoyed it. :D

Definitely steps above the original while staying true to it as well, and I like the new intro, it reminds me of a cool WWF wrestler intro :) Glad you used the idea I mentioned for it, too. 5 stars, and 12 points from Jersey.
Don't ask, it's a play off of one comment I recently got, haha.
