Read both Boyd's and Clapton's books. Put together these books will give you a small glimpse of the whacky lifestyle they all lived filled with sex, drugs, alcohol and rock 'n roll. How Clapton overcame his vices is amazing, not to mention how he remained a superstar during them.

Patti Boyd was a skank low life, always looking for the next meal ticket because she had/has no talent. In the early sixties she was the Smith's Crisps Girl in a British television advertisement, made famous for saying "Smith's Criwthsps" through the gap in her teeth. Next she appears in the background on Ready Steady Go. Then she turns up in A Hard Days Night sitting with the Beatles on the train during "I Should Have Known Better", definitely looking for a Beatle to bed. Such a skank.

@glammie4 You are no doubt correct. The 60's-70's rock men were forever locked in homosocial combat and expressed their sexual tension by "stealing" women from one another. Read over rock history and that beasr this out. Jagger "stole" Jerry Hall from Bryan Ferry, Bebe Buell was constantly fought over (Rundgren, Tyler, Jagger, Page, Stewart), Michael Hutchins lost his wife to Bob Geldof, Steve Tyler's ex, Cyrinda Foxe was with god knows how many rockers. There's more. Help me out here people!
