A word on the powertrain. The engine is not $7k, it retails at $5,300. GM Dealer cost is around $4,800. Also, the ramjet doesn't need an electronically controlled transmission like he claims. In fact, the engine comes setup for a manual transmission from the factory. The serpentine set is more like $450 without the compressor. Also, the engine does not make 400HP. It dynos out at about 360 at the crank.
