  • @leetseo that's because a singer did it. Although Madonna once said she never said she could sing and that she sings to express herself. Love them both.

  • I can feeeel the Power!

  • ps i once saw Madonna take the piss out of Loleatta Holloway (suposedly in jest) on TV

    anyone else see it?

  • i was listening to Jocelyn Brown one day When my 'Dance Music Hating' older brother said 'is that all she can do SHOUT' uuuuuuuugh you just dont get it This song is 'proof' My Loleatta could be restrained enough but 'sweet' also ie do a 'modern Pop Song' better than Madge nah you dont get it lol and yeh the 'mix' needs 2 be a lot spunkier than this tho i still like this sorta 'LP' Mix Where is the master tapes of this 1 ya italian fukkers!
  • OMG I LIKE IT BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL!

    Loleatta Holloway rip

  • i love this version. loleatta can sing anything and sound great.

i know i found out on the internet not one word on the news. can you believe that!.

allso want pay my respect for john whitehead of Mc Fadden And Whitehead.

who was shot and killed. and again nothing on the news.

  • Crimen Sollicitationis

  • i just found out that loleatta passed away on march 22; there was absolutely no mention at all of her passing in the news. this is such a travesty. anytime a d.j. played a loleatta holloway cut it was GUARANTEED to get everybody on the dance floor! "hit and run", "love sensation", "crash goes love", "runaway", just to name a few of my all-time loleatta hits. rest in peace great lady, you will be missed by your true fans.

  • I got the Virgin Voices cd because I am a huge fan of both Madonna and Industrial and goth music (which is what a huge portion of the songs were), and I was completely blown away by this performance. I generally don't listen to Soul or R&B, but this is truly amazing.

  • R.I.P. Loleatta...
