This wonderful performance is a precious treasure in US entertainment history. Very rare glimpse of Anita O'Day just out of her teens & in the big time with Gene Krupa & Roy Eldridge. In her 1982 autobio Anita said the band members taught her poker and once she grasped the game she was taking all their money on the tour bus. Anita loved Gene, she returned to his band after his prison bust problems. I miss all 3 of these legends, especially Anita. Thanks for sharing, friend. :)

Love how Krupa (placed of course in the center) is the only sole dressed in black and everyone else in white, so he sticks out!
