http://www.frostnixon.com -€“ Frost Nixon Interviews -€“ Clip 2 -€“ Sir David Frost asking Nixon about The million dollars in cash issue, Keeping Hunt under control, Buying time, The Hunt problem needs to be handled, Mitchell can provide the money, Nixon gets angry & says "€œLet me stop you right there, you are doing something that I am not doing" "You are reading there, out of context, out of order, because I have read this, I know it better than you do, And I should know it better because I was there."

When discussing the legacy of a failed presidency, nothing could be more relevant, engaging or important than the series of interviews that David Frost conducted with Richard Nixon in 1977. Following a three-year political silence, the series drew the largest ever TV news audience and granted the American people a tacit admission of guilt from the former president.
With the Ron Howard film (adapted from the Tony Award® winning play) opening in theaters on December 5th, there will be unprecedented interest in the real thing. Frost/Nixon

  • @mynameisjim93 Nothing to do with JFK right?

  • @Saebeck32 John Dean wanted to pay off Hunt because Hunt knew about John Dean's involvement in the planning and execution of the burglary.

  • Why did they feel they had to pay off Hunt?

  • @papeluso i luv boobs

  • @papeluso me too!!!

  • @legato699 so true wat they said in the end of the movie...

  • You just have to look at Nixon's face. It says a thousand times more than his actual answer.

"Out of context", "Out of order", etc. : the people know enough about the context, and the quoted note were never out of order.

  • @Timmonsec this is where Nixon lost the upper hand. He should have just dealt with his words in a very matter of fact way, by admitting he was wrong.

"Out of context"?? No, his words made his positions all too clear.Had RMN simply replied that he was dealing with critical issues that would have affected the well-being of the country, and in doing so, he made some wrong decisions regarding Hunt & Watergate, he would have neutralized Frost's aggressive posturing. Nixon flubbed this one.

  • Awesome!

  • @Lovetogolf2005 lol ok.
