not the answer I was looking for... but truly touching. It makes you wonder though, what is love. Its not a chemical, hormone, or nerve. What compels one to put one being above another? Especially if it has no involvement in religion. Is love enacted because we as a people are afraid to live alone, wondering from friend to friend. Or is it a special something within us that actually exists?

Nerves, neurons, biological chemicals may store our memories of those we love and certain synoptic pathways may become hard-wired because of our attitudes about love - but what is the actual source or origin of this kind of unselfish, devotional love that puts others first? Religion has nothing to do with it Blake but God has everything to do with it. He Himself claims to BE Love and the source of all love. 1 John 4:8
