Beautiful crisp spring morning. Farmers looking more rested than usual (even though they got up at 2:30 to get ready for opening day). Trusted producers of fantastic eggs, meats, and veggies. Spinach, especially. And herbs and veggie plants. New producers of baked goods, fresh pasta, pastured pork. Lovely Caffe Marco and Cookin' Up Kentucky smells floating around. A week's postponement on entering the new pavilion space. Many relieved and happy marketeers - 2010 is underway, and Savoring Kentucky is Kentucky Proud for sure about all this.
