  • Yeah, many thx for this instrumental, written against the Vietnam War, filled of sadness.

    It should be used as an Anthem by all Peace Organisations in the World.

    Regards from Germany

  • Pure psychedelic transcendence...the very music of the spheres...

  • An amazing song. I am thankful for this song and this album.

  • @rag5206 I want tsm LP too ;______;

  • @rag5206 Perhaps Amazon.com offers the MGM album on CD. I read somewhere recently, of an obscure LP that was an inventory CD, through them. Good Luck! Doesn't really get much better than the Briggs Era "New Animals". Thrree months after Eric fired Vic, 7/68, it was announced the group was disbanding. Our loss.

  • @movingon4ever Thanks 4 the response, I tried to buy The Twain Shall Meet on CD in Australia recently, really surprised when they told me that it's no longer available here. Have it on LP but wanted a CD for the car. Fantastic album.

  • @rag5206 Briggs is a brilliant musician who ousted a vetran Producer, Tom Wilson, while recording two LPs in 1967, "Winds of Change", and "The Twain Shall Meet".. As Vic created music of beauty for the "New Animals", he had obstacles to face in the studio. Doubtful that filming his 'work treadmill' was a prioriy in 1967. Briggs' guitar skills, stellar arrangements, and composing talents remain with us on YT. Enjoy! See Answers. com for Vic's Bio

  • Does any "Animals" fan know if there is a video of the original studio recording, it would be fanastic to watch

  • Awesome improvising from Vic Briggs

  • Absolutely fantastic, gee I am happy I grew up in the 60's & 70's most of the music was awesome!!!

  • tsss... que rico, quisiera ser esos sonidos. Pero estoy más agradecido por poder apreciarlo.
