Easy Elite Monk Tome Farm (55'ing w/any class)

The Attributes:
12 Blood Magic (+3 Sup and +1 Headset if playing N/Rt)
12 Curses
6 Channeling Magic (with maybe a +1 if you're playing Rt/N)

The Skills:
Awaken The Blood
Soul Barbs
Spoil Victor
Price of Failure
OPTIONAL (A hex preferably, Life Syphon works well, as does Spirit Rift)
Barbed Signet
Necrosis
Necrotic Traversal (to grab your goods)

The Equipment:
You'll need Superior Runes on all armour pieces to get your health down to 105, and a Grim Cesta with -50hp to further drop it to 55hp.
Stock up on Radiant and Attunement runes also, dont bother with health or armour boosting runes either.
Also, try to get a caster sword or axe (+5e and 20% enchant mods) to go with the offhand cesta.

Using the Build:

1. Leave through the portal heading East at Lutgardis Conservatory in Factions to enter Melandru's Hope
2. Turn Left and head along the path as shown without aggroing anything.
3. Target Byzzr Wingmender (Monk Boss) by hitting "C" when near
4. Stay behind the rockface as shown and hit all the skills in sequence
5. Spam Necrosis whenever you can, and any of the hexes if you have the energy to add a little more damage
6. Once he's down, check around to make sure no patrols are nearby
7. If clear, slap Necrotic Traversal and you'll teleport to the boss's corpse
8. Here you have to grab your goods quick as hell, as a group spawns and will kill you after a few seconds
9. Resign, repeat. You'll get anything from Money drops, to Fissure/UW scrolls, his Green item, Rubies in some rare cases and of course, coveted Elite Monk Tomes.

Easy build and run, any class can do it with an ?/N secondary, Necros do it faster as they can put more points in with runes and do more damage.

uhm why do you need 55hp for this, he isnt attacking you xD

@markinator14 makes it easier to kill him as your health is permanently lower than his until the last hit. He constantly attacks you, or tries with ranged attacks but the rock is blocking him, ergo all your hexes damage him on failure to hit. He's effectively killing himself.

You don't 'need' 55hp, but if you can get your health down a fair chunk to circa 100hp or something (cant think of specifics, been a while) then you're golden.

Spoil Victor (the elite) deals damage to the target whenever they attack someone with less health. So they keep attacking, and they keep getting damaged. The lower your health the better, and 55 is the safest bet.

Nope, they nerfed a couple of skills on certain peoples 55 lineups but he's still very much a pushover. Hell you could probably do it with an Ele/Me, through backfire on him and meteor shower and such. Any non-projectile spells and hexes work fine.

A mod that you can find on Wiki, makes it so you can change your interface skins. There's alot of player made ones to make your interface looks cool and even to help get the Cartographer title

Try adding By Ural's Hammer to make it faster.... I use Awaken, scourge Healing, spoil victor, then I spam Necrosis + Darkpact one after the other. HM, 50 secs run ( from the door) takes 22 secs when on him to kill him.

This is is not efficient enough, it is too slow to kill him. Why put Soul Barbs on for 3x29 damage?? Not enough to make a difference. Clean it up to: Awaken, SV, Price, Reckless and Necrosis. That's all you need. And of course NT to bounce to the body. You kill him faster. I will post my video of my build farming him as a response.
