How can you have victory ? Iraq had nonthing to do with 9/11 or terrorists ? It was a BIG Failure to invade the country.

answer to a question, "Is victory still possible?"

He sounds like Rumsfeld here. He should know better that the government should define it when they are planning it and BEFORE they make a first strike. He USED to think that way. We have never given the object of the operation with a good reason.

It was like this:
"Let's start bombing, then maybe something will come out, maybe a victory?"

I agree but remember that he was answerable to the President and it was his job to provide answers, if the POTUS demands answers, they have to give regardless of knowledge.
