Prostitution has never been illegal, this is not news. Soliciting is still illegal though.

Ontario provincial laws also struct down marijuana prohibition. Unfortunantly, our psychotic, corrupt, and anti-democratic right wing exploited our colonial and post-British Empire electoral system to gain a majority in our parliament with only a third of the votes. They now are unopposed passing bill C-10, which introduces mandatory minimum sentencing for all drug crime, makes the office of the prime minister immune to legal investigation, and who knows what else. No Canadians seem to care :(

This Video has a few errors.
1. Canada already has legalized prostitution. What it has not legalized is the acts surrounding it. shortly put, pimping and other affiliated jobs, soliciting, and brothels are illegal. 2 The judge who overturned these laws is an Ontario provincial judge, a level below the federal court. This means that these laws will only be removed in Canada if the Supreme Court of Canada agrees with the judge, them which has not happened yet.
