I have to agree with Ahsrain1. Even though im a middleschooler (im in 8th grd), it's alot like highschool. In my school we have ALOT of that stuff. Just last month kids got caught with drugs at my school. and like 5 of the 7th graders are pregnant. and several people in my grade have had sex.... its sad but true. This song isjust telling it like it is

I do support the songs message.

I'm arguing that it's dumb to put an anti-high school culture message in the form of a typical, high school culture song. It just encourages more of the insane high school behaviour. Maybe they want to appeal to kids, but kids are smart enough to hear better music.

all the bad stuff kids do is just a pathetic attempt at belonging, to try to impress. I used to think it was cool, now I see it as reckless and sad. School was good but it could have been better.

Thats a really good point there. I see kids who are my age, 13 and 14, smoking weed outside the mall sometimes... and just like November we had an incident at my school with like 6 kids and drugs. It's really sad.

@MrsAliceHale it would be fine if they made the choice for themselves, but it is because they do it because they think they will be cool or belong. Im still in school, but i have grown alot since being in grade 9. i now see choices for myself, and not what will impress people.

this is true, though. I'm a sophmore in high school and pretty much all the kids on campus talk about is sex, drugs, rich kids, hotties, the freaks, the bulimic/anarexic kids, who got who pregnant, who dresses weird, and all the popular kids.
