@ichhassidioten - Yes, it is copper. As long as water is moving through it, it will not melt. The instant the water stops, the water will boil out of the pipes and the copper will melt.

great idea
fun to make cheap as chips and works
well done.

@GRATZIANI2002 hey! his is using a homemade nuclear reactor
-
the bottom fuckin line to all these videos is " how long does it take to heat such large ammounts of water ? and how much money is wasted ? or time or energy ?
i see a small hot tub hillbilly style but a pool ? wtf get me inside it and i will telll u different ! man i need a blow job. first thing when i wake up then a swim in my heated pool.

this is awesome, you are a stud!
-
if you make that a rocket stove, you'll get a higher heat temps, more efficient burning of fuel and hotter water coming out as a result
-
Not bad but a hot barrel not safe for the little ones. And it kinda looks like your making Moonshine in the back yard.
-
grand redneck engineering
-
wow, man that is cool. you sir are a very intellegent person being able to make soemthing the good out of junk. and wow any hotter and youll have a hot tub.

I think this was awesome... Make due with what you have - this guy obviously gets a lot of pleasure out of his scraps, that others would have thrown out for not thought of - props to you, sir, for a clever idea!
..1 liter of water needs more than 4.2 Kw/second to heat 1 Celsius degree....u mean that u raised the temperature of 25,000 liters (or maybe more..ur pool volume.) water, in 2 minutes, with maybe 10 Celsius deg., with this shit?...u need a Nobel prize!..

@GRATZIANI2002 - Either your brilliance is way over my head, or you're the smartest dumb person I've ever met. The 2nd reading is the temperature coming out of my heater. You assumed way too many things.

@BackyardAmusement lol..u must calculate the wood quantity that u need to heat ur pool!..assume wood best quality has 4 Kw per kg...Q=M x c x delta t (where Q is water quantity in liters, c is water specific heat, delta t is temperature' difference in Celsius), see that ur heat exchanger has less than 20% efficiency and check the wood u need to heat the pool..in order to jape more find the heat time u need for, assuming that u do not loose any heat and u heat only water..be smart!.go school!

@GRATZIANI2002 - School may make you smart, but it will not give you common sense. You assumed that I heated 25,000 liters of water 10 Celsius degrees in 2 minutes! In actuality, the temperature coming from the heater (not the pool) was 30 Fahrenheit degrees higher than what was fed into the heater. The pool's temperature only raises approx 1.5 Fahrenheit degrees per hour with that heater running full blast, and it's 18,000 liters, so you can do the math on that.

@BackyardAmusement ok!..seeing the vid i've assumed this pool has 25 cubic meters!...it's ok for me if i mistake with some 6,000 liters!..this make the sense as long as i do not have any data till now. And tell me pls, 1.5 degree F is all volume or only surface?.(where is suppose to be warmer water).

@GRATZIANI2002 - The water is pumped from the pool through the fire (via copper tubing) and back to the pool. The warmer water is the water coming back from the fire. The water coming from the pool is warmer, not the entire pool.
