  • Why add the moleskin..... The bow isn't the problem. You should simply shoot a heavier arrow. That's really all you need to do, Mr. Witchery Person.

  • @58landman Sorry, how would that help the diminish sound of the string slapping the bow? I think you mean it would slow the string down so the noise would be less? In order to slow the string so much to reduce the sound would that not greatly reduce the speed and penetration of your arrows? Also would you not then be shooting incorrectly weighted and spined arrows for the bow? Isn't it a simpler solution to simply add a cushion to prevent the sound and retain your speed and penetration?

  • Hey thanks, and keep up the great work! Believe it or not this bow ran me just over $100 bucks (58", 45-50lbs@28"). Great traditional bowyer just near my home.
