Yes it will work with sprint no problem, and no wifi is required all you need is a phone number.

Can you help me to set up an Google Voice account? I am currently in Asia, where google voice is not available, but one good thing for me to use Google voice is that I can make free calls directly to the United States and Canada, and it's also cheaper to make calls to other countries. I want a Google Voice number, like that one demonstrated by you, I think it's quite cool.

so if you're using google voice on your mobile you're not actually using the web feature (e.g. skype-to-skype call) and data, in fact you're using your calling feature and minutes, so you are getting charged calling fees instead of data usage fees unless you have your gv as a fave right? i hope this makes sense.

and just wondering, if you call your google voice number from google voice on your computer, will your phone ring?

lol it'd be like calling your cell on your cell phone.

I currently live in Canada and I just wanted to know when will the google voice app be available outside of the united states?.Also evertime I try to log onto their website I get the following message:

"Thanks for visiting Google Voice. We're not yet open for users outside the US, but are planning to expand our service to additional countries in the future."

@mitanunez yes. u never loose your old number. u just mask it w/ your google number. while ur using google voice and if someone calls your old number your phone will still ring.
