This was a GUI design for an HCI class assignment. The assignment was to design the touch interface for a high-end fresh coffee & espresso vending machine, and walk through the steps of ordering a couple drinks.
Design rationale:
I wanted the design to be simple, intuitive and easy for anyone to use quickly. Visual cues let the user know which buttons can be touched and which options are selected. The coffee drink image updates to show what the user will be receiving. I left out unnecessary complexity that might lead to confusion or frustration.
The slides are difficult to see in the recording, so I posted them on Flickr here:

So where do I find such a machine?

Was just looking at your Coffee Vending Interface tonight on YouTube. Did you ever find a market for this? I was speaking with an Espresso Manufacturer today and they didn't have such a vending interface, which was one thing that I wanted to integrate into an Espresso vending machine.
Thanks for your time.
