I am William Denton, SP6 Bill' Denton, and was also stranded at the Kingsport during this period. I do not have any other information on this or any other records of this event and was so pleased to find this on our website.

gotta love the reporters who stay in the hotel! and shoot scenes from the roof. Maybe he could of got a better story if he went on the ground and talked to people and asked what they think is happening and going to happen. If i was a reporter i wouldnt be such coward.

This was taken by a GI Soldier restricted to the hotel. He was a communications soldier, but could not get to the communications center, because the Viet Cong controlled the area between the hotel and Phu Lam

The film was taken by Dennis Bradford. A fellow Phu Lam veteran, William Skaggs, converted it to digital. Howard

My dad is Dennis Bradford. Did he make copies for people at the time? We just found the original film at home. Do you have any other of his films?

The only film Bill Skaggs had is the one posted here. Perhaps your Dad has another film? Howard

This was a copy of a film that your father made and gave to William Spraggs in Vietnam.
William Spprags has no more copies, but your father says that he has more film. We are waiting for your father to transfer his other films of Phu Lam to a DVD, so that we all can see. Howard Hickman
