What's the name of the program you used to put all that together? Awesome job.
-
That was amazing and I really want to learn this song on guitar but there are no tabs for it. You should tab it

It's funny Morgan is my god and I looked up Sevendust cover and found this. And it's good! Right? But no drums, and i'm not surprised. Morgan FTW!

Hey, really awesome work! Your covers are some of the best I've seen on Youtube so far.
One question though: what effects do you use on the "morgan rose vocals"? Sounds very much like the original and I just can't seem to work it out.

@NewerBridge Thanks for the support! I really don't use any effects on Morgan vocals. The only thing I do is record each line twice and then pan it left to right. Other than that, it's just learning the proper technique for screaming. It's also important to recognize the Morgan screams actual notes just as you would if you sing cleanly. If you just scream your head off, it's kind of a crap shoot. For me, control is the name of the game.

I like the way you used to cover the songs so you could learn them. But if you still tab the songs out it'd be cool too.. But my vote for your next would be splinter or srong arm broken.

@StanginandBangin Yeah, I'll still be doing tabs for every song I cover from Cold Day Memory. I'll also add another angle to show close ups of the intricate parts. Thanks for the input, it helps to know that people still want the learning aspect from these videos.

Awesome workaround to WMG crackdown, and enables you to showcase your talents... well done.
One thing I liked from your previous style change was how you showcased both guitars simultaneously. In your new style you could set up a 4th camera shot just to the left or right of your current guitar shot to demo both John & Clint's pieces, and if it's not too corny do a split screen of yourself in those two spots during key collaborations. or not. Just keep up the good work, awesome covers!

@H0TR0D33 Thanks for the input! That's actually more or less what I've been thinking of doing. I'm just gonna do split screen for those specific sections that have two distinct parts going on. I'll probably do the same with vocals. Going between Lajon, Morgan, and Clint sometimes is impossible to make look believable in one shot. I already learned that with this video.
