Images from the the Sloan digital sky survey telescope set to Mozart 's Requiem.
The Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) is the most ambitious sky-mapping survey ever undertaken. Over eight years of operations , it obtained deep, multi-color images covering more than a quarter of the sky and created 3-dimensional maps containing more than 930,000 galaxies and more than 120,000 quasars.
The SDSS used a dedicated 2.5-meter telescope at Apache Point Observatory, New Mexico. Some of the images here may not have come from the SDSS project.
I see God everywhere when I look at the universe.

I was watching another thing about the Sloan DSS, and was completely blown away, they have loads of discs, about 3-4 foot in dia, all these discs are drilled with holes to coincide with the placement of the objects/galaxies, and then fibre optic cameras/sensors are plugged into each hole, this is then installed into the back of the scope.
What an incredible undertaking it is. This is the way they can image so many objects at once.
Seriously clever buggers.
