The simulation of the three tubes Pulse Detonation Drive Engine was done with a supercomputing method known as Beowulf. The advantage in Beowulf's design is that it is based on high-performance parallel computing clusters on easily acquired inexpensive personal computer hardware giving individuals with limited resources the power of a supercomputer.
