Here I show some extra equipment for the bike. A Topeak rack and a Topeak Bag is one of the best bike racks and bags out there you can buy. You can place many items in this bag without the need of carrying a backback. I also show how to properly secure your bicycle to decrease the chances of it getting stolen.

  • you know back a few years when i a little teen i use to steal bikes (dont do it anymore) lol.. we could get through mostly all U locks with a medium lengthed steel pole and abit of leverage. But the lock you have is a thick ass kryptonite lock.. no breaking that !

  • I've never seen or heard of people using a metal pole to break a U Lock, that's interesting. I would be in shock to see someone break through the one I have with a pole. I have heard of other ways that people can get through, like freezing the lock with some type of chemical spray and then shattering it with a hammer. But anyway the U Lock I have has a garantee stating that if your bike gets stolen they'll replace it, I don't want my bike stolen again especially not this one.

  • oh true.. i had friend who tied it to a short lampost... and some guys threw the whole bike over the pole. funny stuff if ur not careful lol

  • @vietprodigy91 The crazy things people do to steal. If you lock your bike up correctly with the proper lock much of this can be prevented. Also if you lock it up on high traffic areas where there are a lot of people walking around this will discourage a theif from trying to steal your bike.

  • could lock it to a tree :P

  • @vietprodigy91 Depending no the thickness of the tree it can easily be broken compared to a metal pole.

  • lock it to the tree

  • bag is sweet.... great vid thx for sharing

  • I like your attitude to a frugal life. Getting back into the workforce as I am, a bike may be a good idea instead of having to rely on inconsistant public transport. I am sure that the health benefits are right up there as a reason. Thanks for this useful video. Thumbs up.
